Christmas & The Weeping of Tammuz

Credit: Briar

Christmas is considered a festive time of year, a time of gift-giving, singing songs, feasting & holiday services…..

….and the complete misleading of truth – celebrating a world holiday that is unholy, unbiblical, and in opposition to God’s Word.

….And if we love our God and King of Israel and we should if we choose to follow Yeshua Jesus, then we have to obey the commands of The Father wholeheartedly and without compromising.

At what point do we as God’s people acknowledge the line in the sand and choose our side?

The world has many offenses and has caused the children of God to fall in many instances. Worldly holidays that derive from paganism are included in those instances.

Matthew 8:6-10 NKJV

Jesus Warns of Offenses

“But whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to sin, it would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were drowned in the depth of the sea. Woe to the world because of offenses! For offenses must come, but woe to that man by whom the offense comes!

“If your hand or foot causes you to sin, cut it off and cast it from you. It is better for you to enter into life lame or maimed, rather than having two hands or two feet, to be cast into the everlasting fire. And if your eye causes you to sin, pluck it out and cast it from you. It is better for you to enter into life with one eye, rather than having two eyes, to be cast into hell fire.

Ezekiel 8:1-18 NKJV

Abominations in the Temple

And it came to pass in the sixth year, in the sixth month, on the fifth day of the month, as I sat in my house with the elders of Judah sitting before me, that the hand of the Lord God fell upon me there. Then I looked, and there was a likeness, like the appearance of fire—from the appearance of His waist and downward, fire; and from His waist and upward, like the appearance of brightness, like the color of amber. He stretched out the form of a hand, and took me by a lock of my hair; and the Spirit lifted me up between earth and heaven, and brought me in visions of God to Jerusalem, to the door of the north gate of the inner court, where the seat of the image of jealousy was, which provokes[a] to jealousy. And behold, the glory of the God of Israel was there, like the vision that I saw in the plain.

Then He said to me, “Son of man, lift your eyes now toward the north.” So I lifted my eyes toward the north, and there, north of the altar gate, was this image of jealousy in the entrance.

Furthermore He said to me, “Son of man, do you see what they are doing, the great abominations that the house of Israel commits here, to make Me go far away from My sanctuary? Now turn again, you will see greater abominations.” So He brought me to the door of the court; and when I looked, there was a hole in the wall. Then He said to me, “Son of man, dig into the wall”; and when I dug into the wall, there was a door.

And He said to me, “Go in, and see the wicked abominations which they are doing there.” 10 So I went in and saw, and there—every sort of creeping thing, abominable beasts, and all the idols of the house of Israel, [b]portrayed all around on the walls. 11 And there stood before them seventy men of the elders of the house of Israel, and in their midst stood Jaazaniah the son of Shaphan. Each man had a censer in his hand, and a thick cloud of incense went up. 12 Then He said to me, “Son of man, have you seen what the elders of the house of Israel do in the dark, every man in the room of his idols? For they say, ‘The Lord does not see us, the Lord has forsaken the land.’ ”

13 And He said to me, “Turn again, and you will see greater abominations that they are doing.” 14 So He brought me to the door of the north gate of the Lord’s house; and to my dismay, women were sitting there weeping for Tammuz.

15 Then He said to me, “Have you seen this, O son of man? Turn again, you will see greater abominations than these.” 16 So He brought me into the inner court of the Lord’s house; and there, at the door of the temple of the Lord, between the porch and the altar, were about twenty-five men with their backs toward the temple of the Lord and their faces toward the east, and they were worshiping the sun toward the east.

17 And He said to me, “Have you seen this, O son of man? Is it a trivial thing to the house of Judah to commit the abominations which they commit here? For they have filled the land with violence; then they have returned to provoke Me to anger. Indeed they put the branch to their nose. 18 Therefore I also will act in fury. My eye will not spare nor will I have pity; and though they cry in My ears with a loud voice, I will not hear them.”

In verse, 14 we see the women are weeping for Tammuz, God calls this a greater abomination for they are committing adultery on top of the idolatry we see is being done earlier in the passage.

In verse 16, we see the men have their backs to the temple and are worshipping the sun.

Did you know that embracing SUNday worship services and ignoring biblical Truth of the Lord’s Feasts including Sabbath which is the 7th-day gift of rest that God has given and made for man according to His Word is an abomination unto God and angers Him?

God’s anger is the same toward those who are embracing worldly traditions i.e. traditions of men as it is referenced in the Bible. God’s commandments also warn us that we shall not commit idolatry or adultery. In Exodus 32, the chapter talks about the events of the golden calf. In this instance, some of the Israelites were also committing adultery and idolatry by worshipping the golden calf as well as attributing God’s power of deliverance, protection, and providing to the statue. Today, one could visit the area near Mount Sinai of where a mass grave was found matching perfectly with the biblical account of the wrath God brought upon the Israelites who worshiped the calf.

Believing the lie that is told by some church leaders that you can still celebrate Christmas because it’s attributed to Jesus’ birth is INCORRECT AND DANGEROUS. They may say that since you believe in God it doesn’t mean you celebrate the same things or in the same way as the world.

They may even rename holidays recognizing that there are errors in man-made traditions but still not worship in Spirit and in Truth according to The Will and Word of God. We see this concept more prevalently in the pagan festival of Ishtar, more widely known as Easter, or conveniently renamed “Resurrection Day to drawback in those who are starting to wake up having revelation through The Holy Spirit of the bondage of adultery and blasphemy in this celebration.

DID YOU KNOW?

“The early Christian church did not celebrate Jesus’ birth. It wasn’t until A.D. 440 that the church officially proclaimed December 25 as the birth of Christ. This was not based on any religious evidence but on a pagan feast. Saturnalia was a tradition inherited by the Roman pagans from an earlier Babylonian priesthood. December 25 was used as a celebration of the birthday of the sun god. It was observed near the winter solstice.

The apostles in the Bible predicted that some Christians would adopt pagan beliefs to enable them to make their religion more palatable to the pagans around them. Therefore, some scholars think the church chose the date of this pagan celebration to interest them in Christianity. The pagans were already used to celebrating on this date.

The Bible itself tells us that December 25 is an unlikely date for His birth. Palestine is very cold in December. It was much too cold to ask everyone to travel to the city of their fathers to register for taxes. Also, the shepherds were in the fields (Luke 2:8-12). Shepherds were not in the fields in the wintertime. They are in the fields early in March until early October. This would place Jesus’ birth in the spring or early fall. It is also known that Jesus lived for 33.5 years and died at the feast of the Passover, which is at Easter time. He must therefore have been born six months the other side of Easter – making the date around the September/October time frames.” (Citation: “Was Jesus Born on December 25?” by All About Jesus – Article Link: https://www.allaboutjesuschrist.org/was-jesus-born-on-december-25-faq.htm)

REMEMBER the passages that I have noted and shared regarding this dangerous doctrine. REMEMBER what God has done to those who participate in any way in these abominations, REMEMBER you are now the temple…do not defile it.

REMEMBER: NOTHING IS NEW UNDER THE SUN. (Ecclesiastes 1:9) God is the same yesterday, today, and forever. He will not conform to our ways. We must be born again, we must worship Him in Spirit and in Truth, we must adhere to His commands through obedience and repentance to be reconciled through Christ.

We cannot afford to gamble with our eternal souls through compromising. We are warned of this by Messiah in Revelation 2:12-17, The Compromising Church.

Our God is a Jealous God and we cannot expect Him to embrace us if we are still embracing the things of this world…

I mean really would YOU marry someone who has cheated on you?

So why then would God send His Son to marry the harlot?

Should He be satisfied with His Bride being an adulteress?

HEAVEN FORBID.

The more you read the Bible the more you will realize that the Bible is indeed a LOVE STORY, of our God Who Is Love and His people. We are indeed the inheritance of His Beloved Son King Yeshua. He loves us so much that He sent His only begotten Son to save the entire world. (John 3:16)

In the biblical passage entitled, ” Heavens Exults over Babylon” found in Revelation 19:9-10, it reads:

7 Let us be glad and rejoice and give Him glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife has made herself ready.” And to her it was granted to be arrayed in fine linen, clean and bright, for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints.

Then he said to me, “Write: ‘Blessed are those who are called to the marriage supper of the Lamb!’ ” And he said to me, “These are the true sayings of God.”

Unfortunately many will perish for a lack of knowledge.

My question to you beloved is…

Now that you know the Truth…what will you do with it?

DID YOU ALSO KNOW?

The christmas song, “Silent Night” is glorifying or paying hommage to the madonna and child? It is commonly referenced as Mother & Child or Mary & baby Jesus which is an intermixing of biblical figures/names replacing pagan deities/names.

Pagans in ancient times did not want to give up their paganism in its entirety this is evident in The Mary & baby Jesus depiction which is actually pagan deities known as Semiramis & Tammuz. Genesis chapter 10 tells us of the lives and events surrounding the Babylonian figures of Semiramis, Nimrod & Tammuz. Tammuz is another name for Baal…aka satan…aka SANTA and many other names in many cultures.

May we take heed to The Word of The Lord:

“Do not be like your fathers, to whom the former prophets preached, saying, ‘Thus says the Lord of hosts: “Turn now from your evil ways and your evil deeds.” ’ But they did not hear nor heed Me,” says the Lord. (Zechariah 1:4)

If you diligently heed the voice of the Lord your God and do what is right in His sight, give ear to His commandments and keep all His statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have brought on the Egyptians. For I am the Lord who heals you. (Exodus 15:26)

He who heeds the word wisely will find good,
And whoever trusts in the Lord, happy is he. (Proverbs 16:20)

Beware, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief in departing from the living God. (Hebrews 3:12)

A fool despises his father’s instruction,
But he who receives correction is prudent. (Proverbs 15:5)

He who keeps instruction is in the way of life,
But he who refuses correction goes astray. (Proverbs 10:7)

But take careful heed to do the commandment and the law which Moses the servant of the Lord commanded you, to love the Lord your God, to walk in all His ways, to keep His commandments, to hold fast to Him, and to serve Him with all your heart and with all your soul. (Joshua 22:5)

Blessed are those whom God corrects. May we all be wise and take heed to His correction and chastens. For God delights in those who follow in His Ways and His Law.

I pray that those with eyes to see and ears to ears will break free from the bondage and deception of the world and will meet God in His appointed time this (7th day), Friday evening into Saturday evening for His Sabbath. (Dress Rehearsal of Millenial Reign – The Eternal Rest in Rev. 20:4-10 – a prophecy to be fulfilled when the King returns!) PRAISE THE LORD!
