We. Are. Witnesses.

We as believers and faithful followers of Christ are called to be witnesses of the Testimony of Yeshua our Messiah. As witnesses, we are the evidence of His Testimony and His Saving Grace. Within that Grace, we are given the opportunity of redemption through Salvation (Yeshua) to follow His lead upon the Path of Righteousness.

It doesn’t mean we discard God’s Commandments meaning The Father’s Instructions which are the framework of our foundation in Jesus, our Cornerstone. On the contrary, God’s Torah from Genesis to Revelation are the navigational system that guides us daily.

Our journey of sanctification called “Life” is our witness account of how Jesus redeemed us through His Atoning Blood that we may endure this race of faith unto the end so that we may be saved.

Hebrews 12:1

Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us.

What does it mean to be a witness?

According to the world a witness can provide their testimony willingly or by force under order in a court of law.

However, our Father and His Beloved Son doesn’t force Their Love on anyone nor do They force a person to walk in faith or proclaim the goodness of The God of Israel and The Holy One of Israel.

The Love of God is so overwhelmingly powerful and blissful that those of us who have had a revelation of Yeshua our King through God’s Holy Spirit want to proclaim His Love and Saving Hand in our lives.

Therefore, according to God’s Holy Standard, His child that “bears witness” means to be courageous, strong, and bold in not only giving a witness account of what God has done to deliver you but to also provide the evidence [fruit] by your daily actions, decorum, and conduct.

To be a witness of The Gospel of Christ means having the loyal and faithful confidence in YHWH’s and Yeshua’s unwavering, dependable, consistent, merciful & forgiving Presence and Word.

Acts 1:8 NKJV

But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.

What is the main responsibility of a witness of Christ?

The main responsibility of a witness of Christ is to first and foremost follow His Voice, Word, and Example.

Within that obedience, God’s Command is to preach the gospel meaning to proclaim the evidence via personal witness account of The Testimony of Yeshua, which is His Gift of Salvation, Redemption, and Reconciliation unto The Father after our endurance of our journey of sanctification comes to an end.

Matthew 24:13-15 NKJV
