What is the evidence of a Dual Mindset?

The evidence of a dual mindset is having the nature of a lukewarm believer. One who claims to stand apart from the world but rejects the statutes of The Law of The Spirit. One who is willing to conform to the world’s standards but also claims to acknowledge The Lord’s Ways and yet infuses traditions, perspectives, and ideologies with scripture and embraces that mixture as truth. However, as long as one is willing to hear the Gospel there is hope for change, this can only happen if a person is willing to be in a posture of humility to be teachable by The Holy Spirit and learn God’s Instruction that leads on the Way of Righteous unto reconciliation through repentance.

James 4:8 KJV
Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.

How do I Show Action in Faith?

Have you ever seen a child who is learning to swim for the first time? They may be afraid of the water. They may not how to float or what they should do with their arms or legs. However, in facing the uncertainty and fear of the unknown, they in a moment of silence and refugee accept that their parent will help them when they take the plunge and jump in…and when they do oh boy! Sheer joy! Oh yes…for in the midst of the waters, surrounded by waves they are comforted in the arms of safety that is holding them up and keeping them atop of the surface. Isn’t that a wonderful picture of how our Father God is with us at every moment? Yeshua, The Son of God, Who is God and King, our Great Shepherd not only leads us in the midst of the wind and waves but also holds our hands and walks with us unto the green pastures. In everything we do, when we keep our eyes on God through meditating[reading/remembrance] on His Word day and night, then we will be sure that with every step, not only will He guide us in our decisions but direct our paths so that they lead unto His Way of Righteousness. For Yeshua is the only Way unto The Father, The True and Living God and He has not forsaken us indeed – He is with us!
