The journey of love should be one of joy. An expression of the wholeness in joining together in a complete unified partnership. It should be something that we as people are excited to share and proclaim. A new foundation is being built that is projected to last a lifetime. When we build our foundation of love in Christ we learn what Love looks like…what it feels like to be respected according to God’s Holy Standard. However, if love is built on the sand then the red flags of instability will shine through as a warning of the impending collapse.
Someone recently presented the following question:
Q.
I have some concerns about my boyfriend I feel like he’s keeping our relationship a secret. What are some signs that a boyfriend is hiding you from his family?
A.
My dear, if you have to ask any question of doubt or uncertainty…THAT in itself is a problem.
When you meet a man …not just a male portraying to be something he is not but a real man, you will know it because he will make it very clear how he feels about you and everyone will know it and they will all know you…Likewise, you will know them too.
There will be no room for doubt because he will be upfront about his intentions and even though you have to make your own decisions about what you want to do, he will respect that and leave time, space, and opportunity for you to be comfortable in making decisions without pressure.
Imposters come in many forms but if you know what the Real Thing looks like it’ll be much easier to avoid emotional trauma and soul ties that sometimes inadvertently afflicts the one who comes along and truly loves you.
Don’t allow the man who is worth your heart and time and love to receive the backlash of the trials and errors that’ll come from game playing.
Hopefully, you won’t endure the backlash either.
When you know Christ…you will know Who True Love is and what it looks like when we truly love one another.
God is Love and He loves you. When we live to His Holy Standard we will learn not to accept anything less than what we deserve as humans.
Hold everyone accountable and to a high and holy standard of respect & love and you will find ease and grace in choosing well.

As believers, we can make a difference, whether by acts of kindness, partaking in conversation, or simply answering a question, these events are opportunities to show what the mind of Christ looks like. Thereby, applying Biblical principles to circumstances we face in our everyday lives and daily living.

Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; 5 does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil;
1 John 4:10-16 NKJV
10 In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. 11 Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.
Seeing God Through Love
12 No one has seen God at any time. If we love one another, God abides in us, and His love has been perfected in us. 13 By this we know that we abide in Him, and He in us, because He has given us of His Spirit. 14 And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent the Son as Savior of the world. 15 Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God. 16 And we have known and believed the love that God has for us. God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God in him.
