Believers Beware.
Today, I’ll be discussing 15 Weird Things About Halloween.
So, let’s get started:
According to Dictionary.com:
Hallow means to:
honor as holy…to make holy or sacred, to sanctify or consecrate, to venerate.
In the late 1800s, there was a move in America to mold Halloween into a holiday more about community and neighborly get-togethers than about ghosts, pranks, and witchcraft. At the turn of the century, Halloween parties for both children and adults became the most common way to celebrate the day. Parties focused on games, foods of the season, and festive costumes. Parents were encouraged by newspapers and community leaders to take anything “frightening” or “grotesque” out of Halloween celebrations. Because of these efforts, Halloween lost most of its superstitious and religious overtones by the beginning of the twentieth century.
Halloween, as we know it today, became popular in the 1930s. However, the HELLiday falls on October 31st because the ancient Gaelic festival of Samhain, considered the earliest known root of Halloween, occurred on this day, and it also has connections to the “Christian” holidays of All Saints’ Day and All Souls’ Day…I expand more on that topic in the video at the end of this article.
If you’re thinking about celebrating this demonic holiday OR if you’re still on the fence about whether to celebrate it yourself or with your children. Here are 15 Weird Things About Halloween that should have the masses running to The Throne of Yeshua for repentance, forgiveness, and safety in His Abiding Presence. I’ll also share several scriptures of what God’s Word says about demonic darkness and partaking in it.
1
Halloween costumes weren’t always worn for fun. Halloween likely originated from the Celtic pagan celebration known as Samhain. During the festival, pagans believed that the recently deceased would come back as spirits to roam the earth during All Hallows Eve. Worried that amongst these spirits may be a few evil spirits as well; the locals would dress up in scary costumes in an attempt to keep any malevolent ghosts at bay. In those days, costumes consisted of cow hides, animal skins, and handcrafted masks.
2
Halloween is BIG business. Second, only to Christmas, Halloween is the biggest grossing holiday of the year….So we have two top demonic holidays worshipping satan being the most popular in terms of cost…this shows a measure of how far the world has gone away from God in rebellion and embracing sin.
3
Being scared can actually feel really, really, good. During the Halloween season, more than any other time of the year, people across the country will try to scare themselves on purpose. Horror movies and haunted attractions will pop up in local communities and attendees will go to these events with great excitement. So, demonic forms portrayed through gory gothic monstrous characters are considered fun and exciting. According to scientific evidence, these acts are considered by some people to be pleasurable being afraid as long as it takes place in a safe environment. So it seems in their minds nothing is wrong with killing, murdering, purging, etc. as long as it’s on a movie screen, as entertainment, or presented in some other abnormal way…that’s considered “safe”.
This is a classic example of the blinded confusion and distortion in the minds of the children of disobedience and the masses who are happily and frightfully following them into the pit of sin and death…literally.
4
The most popular Halloween costume is the Witch. Approximately 6 million witches will be out on Halloween. Other classic costume choices round out the top ranks, including vampires, pirates, zombies, cats, princesses, and superheroes.
5
The first Jack-o-Lanterns were not even made from pumpkins. Back thousands of years ago in the Celtic lands, simple lanterns were carved out of turnips, and these lanterns were sometimes adorned with frightful and spooky faces, which were thought to scare away evil spirits that might be out and about on All Hallows Eve.
6
The birthplace of Halloween is Ireland. Halloween likely evolved from the ancient Celtic celebration of Samhain, which in ancient days was a ritualistic festival that honored the pagan gods of the harvest.
and speaking of ritualism we move to number 7:
7
Halloween is known as a time of ritual Matchmaking in which superstitious acts were performed to reveal someone’s future husband or wife. Again another performance of witchcraft and sorcery.
8
“Jack o’lantern” comes from the Irish legend of Stingy Jack, a story about the devil attempting to claim the soul of stingy jack who ended up roaming the earth according to Irish/Scottish folklore.
9
Candy corn was originally called Chicken Feed.
10
Trick-or-treating comes from “souling” like several other Halloween activities, the tradition can be traced back to the Middle Ages and the rituals of Samhain. It was believed that phantoms walked the earth on the night of Samhain, so people would dress up in costumes in an effort to repel the spirits.
11
Halloween folklore is full of fortune-telling and magic…this is witchcraft and sorcery…we know The Bible strictly prohibits and speaks against this.
12
Day of the Dead should really be called Days of the Dead. The Day of the Dead takes place from October 31 through November 2 in Mexico and a few other Hispanic countries. November 1st, Dia de Los Inocentes, honors children that died, and family members decorate graves with baby’s breath and white orchids. On November 2nd, families honor adults who have died and place orange marigolds on grave sites.
The original Aztec celebration actually lasted a month-long, but when Spanish conquistadors came over to Mexico in the 16th century, they merged the festival with the Catholic All Saints’ Day. Today’s celebration is a mix of Aztec rituals of skulls, altars to the dead, and food with Catholic masses and prayers.
13
Some animal shelters won’t allow the adoption of black cats around Halloween for fear they’ll be sacrificed.
14
Studies have shown that Halloween actually makes kids act more evil. As io9 points out, putting costume-wearing kids into groups and introducing a clear object of desire, such as candy, has been shown to lead to “deindividuation.” This psychological term explains what happens when a group of maturing young minds begins to care less about the consequences of their individual actions, leading them to do things that they might not do alone.
15
All Hallows’ Eve falls on 31st October each year, and is the day before All Hallows’ Day, also known as All Saints’ Day in the Christian calendar. The name derives from the Old English ‘hallowed’ meaning holy or sanctified and is now usually contracted to the more familiar word Hallowe’en.

This is clearly a day of blasphemy and perversion celebrated through demonic activity. As the devil is known to do, he twists the hellish festival into something more palatable for the masses who blindly celebrate and rationalize the weird behavior as something good with candy and safe spaces; a family holiday zeroing in on CHILDREN as the center block and sacrificial pawns in participating in the festivals, rituals, and pagan traditions of this season.
If you’re still debating on whether you’re going out trick-or-treating or to that costume party after all of this… here are 6 disturbing facts about this festival that you definitely need to know:
1 People claimed the ancient Druids ate their firstborn children on this day.
2 Halloween is regarded as the Witches’ Sabbat, the equivalent of their New Year’s Eve.
3 The Druids had many ways of sacrificing humans, one of which was packing them in a giant burning effigy of a man.
4 Human and animal sacrifices were made to their death god Samhain to pay homage, ergo the name Samhain festival aka Halloween.
5 Halloween is celebrated by Wiccans & Druids, is emersed in “Christian” & “Catholic” traditions, and is embraced by some churches.
6 Once upon a time, pumpkins would be filled with a little more than pumpkin seeds….they were filled with flaming human fat from sacrifices.

Well, I’ve had just about as much as I can stomach from all of this darkness and evil.
Let’s see what The Light and Lamp shines on this treachery, in warning and forbidding us as the people of God not to take part in the world’s holidays especially, Hell-oween.
1 Corinthians 10:20-21 NKJV
20 Rather, that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice they sacrifice to demons and not to God, and I do not want you to have fellowship with demons. 21 You cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons; you cannot partake of the Lord’s table and of the table of demons.
Ephesians 4:25-27 NKJV
Do Not Grieve the Spirit
25 Therefore, putting away lying, “Let each one of you speak truth with his neighbor,” for we are members of one another. 26 “Be angry, and do not sin”: do not let the sun go down on your wrath, 27 nor give place to the devil.
Ephesians 5:27 NKJV
Walk in Light
8 For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light 9 (for the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness, righteousness, and truth), 10 finding out what is acceptable to the Lord. 11 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them.
With these witches brew festivals and celebrations approaching, be careful and watchful of your loved ones especially your children, as it is a high time of sacrifice. May The Lord guide us in His understanding and keep us in His Stronger Tower. May we stand in the midst of His Glory Cloud surrounded by His protection.
Be holy for He Is Holy.
