Most people are no stranger to troubled waters. The raging winds and turbulent waves are like obstacles in life’s journey. Like a lone fisherman on a 25-foot sailboat named Faith in the middle of the deep seas; Peter was also in the midst of the waters but he was not alone…just as we are not alone. Our Messiah King Yeshua was already waiting and ready to guide us as He guided Peter in his walk and test of faith.
As you read the passage below, notice that the verses are testifying to the fact that there is a lack and yet there is faith shown through the praise.
When we understand that we should praise our God and King in good times and in times of trouble then our faith can not only be strengthened but we will experience the outpouring of God’s Hand in our lives. As Psalm 119:1-8 ( ALEPH – Meditations on the Excellencies) of the Word of God tells us, The Lord’s blessing will pursue [in the Hebraic text the word for pursue means chase] those who obey His commands.
May we meditate on The Holy Scriptures day & night and persevere as survivors of the endurance through prayer, worship, faith, and praise unto our God and King of Israel.
Habakkuk 3:17-19 NKJV
A Hymn of Faith
17 Though the fig tree may not blossom,
Nor fruit be on the vines;
Though the labor of the olive may fail,
And the fields yield no food;
Though the flock may be cut off from the fold,
And there be no herd in the stalls—
18 Yet I will rejoice in the Lord,
I will joy in the God of my salvation.
19 The Lord God is my strength;
He will make my feet like deer’s feet,
And He will make me walk on my high hills.
