Apostasy – Have You Gone Rogue?

Accounting is essential. At some point in our lives, we have to take into account our actions, our traits, the effects of life’s circumstances that cause reactions and words that are said to which we will have to give an account; as we all will be held accountable for the works we do in this life.

In a posture of humility, we can read and re-read scriptures such as Revelation 2 and 3 [The Seven Churches] and pray in the secret place to God through His Holy Spirit in Jesus’ Name for guidance and understanding of where we are according to His Holy Standard that we may rejoice in His chastening, embrace His support and take responsibility for our actions in asking forgiveness while we follow Christ as we repent thereby by making the correction in the direction unto eternal life.

First,
What is the biblical definition of apostasy?
An act of refusing to continue to follow, obey, or recognize a religious faith.

Second,
What is a rogue person?
This type of person is described as unprincipled, deceitful, and unreliable.

The Whilst Urban dictionary carries the definition of “go rogue” as “to cease to follow orders; to act on one’s own, usually against expectation or instruction. To pursue one’s own interests.”

In this last hour, we as the Body of Christ must take heed to renew our minds daily and meditate on God’s Word day and night. For our flesh is weak and although we are not of the world we are surrounded by the influences that are in it.

Let us remember that when we stray in going our own way albeit life’s circumstances can be like raging winds blowing us to and fro; we will sink into deep waters IF we are not grounded in Christ Who Is our Rock and Cornerstone.

How easily bad company can corrupt good morals when we become like the lost sheep and prodigal son? Yet our Good, Good Father is Faithful and Forgiving…He Is also The Righteous Judge. As a loving God, His Staff and Rod are correction and support in the perfection of holiness.

We find the perfection of holiness in God’s Will.

It would do us well to know that Grace is NOT an excuse to justify bad behavior or repetitive sin. God has allowed Grace to fall upon the just and the unjust before the foundations of the earth. Grace is the extension of love given through His Son The Beloved Yeshua Hamashiach by whom we are saved & redeemed, and through Him, we are reconciled unto The Father.

May The Holy Spirit bring The Holiness of our God and King into our remembrance as God will not dwell in unholiness therefore, take heed…Be holy for He Is Holy.

The God of Israel and King of Israel have not only given us The Holy Scriptures but also The Holy Spirit [God’s Spirit]. So you see…we have everything we need to be survivors of this endurance.

God has finished the work showing us He Loved us first….Now let us show the evidence of His Love in us by being obedient…A simple task for those who choose LIFE; stepping aside so The Holy Spirit can teach, guide, and lead in their lives. [1 John 4:7-11, Knowing God Through Love]

So for our sake let the question be presented:

Have you gone rogue?

Many perish for a lack of knowledge in perpetuating doctrines and teachings that conflict with the true original Hebraic text & context of The Holy Scriptures. This is dangerous as the masses then embrace the world’s traditions and reject the Heritage of God that He reserved and consecrated as holy; extending the gift of fellowship, worship, and praise in spirit and truth.

Rebellion is prominent throughout the ages…nothing is new under the sun. In this action, we show our trust is not placed in God but within ourselves and inadvertently deny the Resurrection of Yeshua Jesus by going our own way; thereby becoming children of disobedience and slaves to sin which eventually leads to a reprobate mind…dangerous territory!

1 Corinthians 15:29-33 NKJV
Effects of Denying the Resurrection

29 Otherwise, what will they do who are baptized for the dead, if the dead do not rise at all? Why then are they baptized for the dead? 30 And why do we stand in jeopardy every hour? 31 I affirm, by the boasting in you which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily. 32 If, in the manner of men, I have fought with beasts at Ephesus, what advantage is it to me? If the dead do not rise, “Let us eat and drink, for tomorrow we die!”

33 Do not be deceived: “Evil company corrupts good habits.” 34 Awake to righteousness, and do not sin; for some do not have the knowledge of God. I speak this to your shame.

Many will be found without oil in their lamps as they reject the ways of God and they choose their own way instead of picking up the cross and following Jesus on the narrow path…they continue to be stiff-necked in the ways of The Lord.

However, as for the brethren…if we truly trust and believe in Yeshua Moshianu [Savior/Redeemer] and all He has done – may we strive for perfection in holiness. Perfection in holiness…meaning enduring the journey of sanctification that we may through following God’s Law [God’s Instruction] throughout our lives be found to be acceptable in the completion of His Ways when we stand before His Throne…this is the evidence of The Holy Spirit within us..faithful followers by The Revelation of Jesus Christ.

Living Sacrifices to God

12 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. 2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

God hates the wicked, the proud, and vanity…unfortunately the world is filled with such traits. May we as the inheritance of our King and High Priest and also the children of God…Israel be found to be humble. For those who are meek and lowly…they are the little children and the kingdom of God is reserved for them.

Ecclesiastes 12:9-14 NKJV
The Whole Duty of Man

9 And moreover, because the Preacher was wise, he still taught the people knowledge; yes, he pondered and sought out and set in order many proverbs. 10 The Preacher sought to find acceptable words; and what was written was upright—words of truth. 11 The words of the wise are like goads, and the words of scholars are like well-driven nails, given by one Shepherd. 12 And further, my son, be admonished by these. Of making many books there is no end, and much study is wearisome to the flesh.

13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter:

Fear God and keep His commandments,
For this is man’s all.
14 For God will bring every work into judgment,
Including every secret thing,
Whether good or evil.

Choose this day whom you will serve.

Be holy for He Is Holy.
