Ephesians 4:7-16
Spiritual Gifts
7 But to each one of us grace was given according to the measure of Christ’s gift. 8 Therefore He says:
“When He ascended on high,
He led captivity captive,
And gave gifts to men.”
9 (Now this, “He ascended”—what does it mean but that He also first descended into the lower parts of the earth? 10 He who descended is also the One who ascended far above all the heavens, that He might fill all things.)
11 And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, 12 for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, 13 till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; 14 that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, 15 but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ— 16 from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love.
Learn a New Hobby:
Hobbies are a great way to relax and spend time with others. It can be a way to take a mental vacation from your everyday tasks. Take the time to be good to yourself too for there is much work in the field of life…but the laborers are few. There is a lot to do in the kingdom! Refocus and refresh as the people of God have the heart to help others…you included!
Donate Your Time:
One of your most valuable assets is your time. How blessed we are when someone takes the time to share The Word of The Lord and talk about The Holy Scriptures in context with us. Giving time to support, inspire, and encourage! To devote time with another to pray to God and praise Him for His Faithfulness, Unwavering Love, and Tender Mercies. Spending your time to please God in this life lays up an abundance of rewards in heaven!
Teach Your Talent:
The children of God are unique and special people. Our Heavenly Father has blessed us with gifts and talents. He wants us to utilize them for the work of ministry as well as to be a benefit to the kingdom and to edify the saints. We all have wonderfully amazing talents that can be shared and as the like-minded body of Christ come together as a movement for a cause. Many hands are better than two!
Share a Valuable Resource:
The Holy Scriptures, food, water, shelter, grooming, and clothing are essentials that uphold the most in value. It’s always a wonderful blessing when we as believers walk in faith and do the work of the kingdom; showing The Love of Yeshua by proclaiming The Good News of The Gospel, providing a meal(s) & drink(s), being a gracious host to provide a warm place to sleep, provide personal care kits, and provide new or gently used clothing to someone or others in need. Any of these areas are sure to brighten a person’s day & remind all of us that there are still kind, compassionate, loving, open & willing hearts out there!
May we show The Love of Christ through His Example as we are witnesses of His Testimony and Ambassadors of the Kingdom.
Be holy for He is Holy.
