When you love with your whole heart you give the stepping stone to take on the world…to endure the race. Often times there is contending of the heart; one half has a desire to move on and the other half is occupied with past pain. To be fair to oneself or anyone else is to give yourself the time and grace to heal. So, that when you are in the moment of giving and receiving you’ll be “here and present”. You’ll have an awareness and will be ready to embrace wholeheaterdly minus the guilt, the shame, the pain or the worry which can lead to (whether intentional or unintentional) defensiveness, rejection and self sabotage.
One of the greatest gifts you can receive is the one in which you can and are willing to give.
