A follower of Yeshua may ask…
Why is it so hard for those closest to me to love me?
Why do they say they love me and yet they don’t like me?
Why is it so hard for them to respect me?
Why is it a task to be mindful of me?
Where is the compassion for me?
When I ask to be respected why are they complacent?
You may find as a follower of Yeshua that the more you learn and accept God’s ways, the harder it is for you to be in the presence of those who are still in the world and get along with them. It’s not that you intentionally or unintentionally do anything. You may come in the midst of them with joy, peace, and love but they will still find a problem with you. Your very nature will be hazardous to their spiritual well-being and there will be no reason…well, no valid reason that is justifiable or makes sense.
You will find that you may experience growing contention, conflicts, and afflictions in your daily life. In just going about your way, you may interact with strangers or even people you know willingly or unwillingly that come out of the “blue” or “out of the wood works” with treating you unkindly. They may be rude or have an attitude with you when you’re being as nice as pie, not causing any strife nor being offensive or mistreating them.
In other words, you will face unwarranted warring in the spirit.
The more you pursue our God and King the more He will draw near to you; which means that the world will push you away. They will begin to separate themselves from you because the darkness cannot comprehend the light.
They’re actually doing you a favor because they know that you do not belong to them in fact God has chosen you from before the beginning of the foundations of the world therefore, you have no place in the midst of wolves. The sheepfold are not of their own.
This hard Truth may sound harsh but it is The Truth and our reality as the chosen people of God.
We are a nation of people with our own heritage. A royal bloodline, a peculiar and unique people set apart by God Himself for His Glory to bless us with all of His Love because we actually keep His Covenant by following His Instruction therefore, we are blessed.
It is the agenda of the enemy to work in people that have open doors and strongholds that they are still battling in their lives; using them to provoke you to anger to get you far removed from God, joining them on the trajectory that they are currently on with a destination of Sheol if they don’t repent.
Satan uses people, places, and things to afflict the saints of God; creating strongholds and pitfalls that we may slip…and fall…and fail as we endure our life’s journey of sanctification. Nevertheless, we rejoice for Christ is our Salvation. He has spoken the Word of The Father and They require holiness and sanctification through obedience…this is the evidence of love that we have for The Father and Son.
So now that we know that even our loved ones, the ones closest to us can be used as tools of affliction by the devil we no longer have to ask the question “Why?”
According to Psalm 91, we do not wrestle against flesh but against principalities in the midst of high places…heavenly places/heavenly realms that our carnal minds cannot comprehend.
It would do us well to meditate on the Word of The Lord day and night meaning to remember His Instruction by reading His Word that we may have remembrance to repent daily [make the choice to turn from sin daily]. Praying that His Holy Spirit will continue to guide, direct & lead that we may understand His Word in the proper Biblical context.
Keeping our eyes on Messiah for He is our Great Shepherd and He will lead us to green pastures. Keeping us safe, providing, advocating, and defending us from the wiles of the devil which will arise in the form of the treatment of people.
Be strong and of good courage for when we obey The God of Israel, we will be blessed. He will set us upon Christ, The Rock and Cornerstone of our foundation that we will be able to look out among them and see the reward of those who continue to go in their own way following their own thoughts.
Messiah has warned us.
When we pick up our cross and we follow Him, we make a choice to live according to God’s Holy Standard, to live uprightly, and to have a heart of holiness.
We are in the last hour.
We cannot afford to continue to sugar coat The Truth that God has told us from the beginning of Genesis which has been consistent and continuous and will be everlasting as it is written in Revelation.
There is no more time…for today is the day that the Lord has made in which we need to absolutely choose a side for tomorrow is not promised.
The Kingdom of God is at hand…
…that could be tomorrow for some and that could be today for others no one knows the time in which we are appointed to stand before The Throne of God for judgement.
May we hold fast, praying that God will give us strength to not grow tired or weary even in the midst of persecution…even when it comes from those who are closest to us.
Let us gather ourselves to be an example as we follow Jesus Christ of Nazareth, The Greatest Example Himself.
Let us not be swayed nor moved by the tactics of the enemy.
Be strong enough to guard your heart and patient enough to understand. Have the compassion to tell The Truth and also…
…have the courage to stand in God’s Truth.
You don’t have to be a pushover or complacent to be loved

May we take heed to the words of the Lord…
John 15:9-27 NKJV
Love and Joy Perfected
9 “As the Father loved Me, I also have loved you; abide in My love. 10 If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and abide in His love.
11 “These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full. 12 This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you. 13 Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends. 14 You are My friends if you do whatever I command you. 15 No longer do I call you servants, for a servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things that I heard from My Father I have made known to you. 16 You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you. 17 These things I command you, that you love one another.
The World’s Hatred
18 “If the world hates you, you know that it hated Me before it hated you. 19 If you were of the world, the world would love its own. Yet because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you. 20 Remember the word that I said to you, ‘A servant is not greater than his master.’ If they persecuted Me, they will also persecute you. If they kept My word, they will keep yours also. 21 But all these things they will do to you for My name’s sake, because they do not know Him who sent Me. 22 If I had not come and spoken to them, they would have no sin, but now they have no excuse for their sin. 23 He who hates Me hates My Father also. 24 If I had not done among them the works which no one else did, they would have no sin; but now they have seen and also hated both Me and My Father. 25 But this happened that the word might be fulfilled which is written in their law, ‘They hated Me without a cause.’
The Coming Rejection
26 “But when the Helper comes, whom I shall send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father, He will testify of Me. 27 And you also will bear witness, because you have been with Me from the beginning.
Be holy for He Is Holy.
