Definition: a prophetess
(Please note: The word “prophetess” came later on after the 1st century. In the original Hebraic writings the word used was nevi(ah) [ root word navi] for all prophets, male and female.
Kindness Breaks Barriers
Have you ever had a dispute with a kind person? Most of us probably don’t think about that type of scenario. It’s actually quite difficult to maintain a level of anger with someone who doesn’t feed into the negativity but rather does the opposite and extends the love & kindness of The Lord. Anger feeds anger and it fuels contention & warring. Break barriers of negativity with kindness which is the result of the unconditional love of God…God is Love and there is no unrighteousness in Him…Be Kind.
Titus 3:4-6 NKJV
4 But when the kindness and the love of God our Savior toward man appeared, 5 not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit, 6 whom He poured out on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior,7 that having been justified by His grace we should become heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

Is the Bible Sexist?
Absolutely not! When we read The Holy Scriptures in the original Hebraic text in the Biblical context, we find that there are a number of female prophets. Yes, prophets! In the 1st century, males and females did not have separate “titles” such as prophets & prophetess; prophetess is a Greek term that came later. The masculine form of nouns is used when a word is referencing both male & female. For instance, “men” is the masculine form used but we see this term used many times over to reference mankind…meaning male & female. In fact, in Paul’s letters, he was an advocate for equality as was common amongst the brethren even in teaching and doing the work of ministry. He oftentimes disputed the Corinthian mindset as they held firm to the beliefs of superiority over women in areas of their ancient culture and daily life.
Am I being true to my values?
We as the children of God are in the world but we are not of it. In this, we may find a number of obstacles that we face every day provoking us to question our level of tenacity in upholding our values in Christ. Yeshua is our cornerstone and foundation. Therefore, a righteous man or woman will evaluate each circumstance and hold it to The Holy Standard of God to verify whether or not it can stand in the midst of The Holy One. As believers, we make it a part of our daily lives to meditate on God’s Word, repent, pray, ask for forgiveness, worship, obey, and give praise to The One Who deserves all the glory and honor. In humility, if we make a point to naturally hold firm to God’s Holy Standard, then we will not be left questioning the trueness of our values. In standing in Strength [Yeshua] and proclaiming boldly His Love…His values will become our values.
